\"\"This ministry plans and organizes various opportunities which are designed to help strengthen married couples. The ministry offers seminars, correspondences, and retreats to facilitate marriage enrichment and Christian fellowship. Please consider joining them as they diligently seek to reflect Christ through marriages. They offer a Couples\u2019 Sunday School class after 8:30 a.m. service and a number of other activities that seek to help couples sustain godly marriages. Meeting Date and Time: 2nd Wednesdays of the month at 6:00 p.m. in Room 109 .<\/span><\/p>

\"\"This is a ministry of our retired members who meet to provide an opportunity for fellowship and community service. Keenagers welcome all retirees who are looking for an opportunity to join with them in continued Christian service to the church and surrounding areas. The Keenagers meet the last Monday of the month (except on holidays) at 10:30 a.m. Lunch and a Senior Fun Day activity follows the meeting during the winter, fall and spring months.<\/span><\/p>

\"\"The young adult ministry is excited about their new and continuing opportunities this fall. In addition to their Sunday School class, they have an exciting new bible study on Wednesday nights. Their monthly meeting is the 4th Monday of every month. They are currently planning outreach and fellowship opportunities for the remainder of this year and the upcoming year. This ministry is comprised of young adults ages 18 to 40 who are growing together in their commitment to Jesus Christ. This ministry is committed to studying, teaching, and spreading the Word of God in our church, community, and throughout city. Fellowship, outreach commitment, unity, and spiritual growth are the FOCUS of this ministry. If you are in this age group, join us in celebrating Christ through the various activities offered through their ministry. Meeting times every 4th Monday at 6:00 p.m. in Room 203.<\/span><\/p>

Mission Statement:<\/div>
The Christian Book Club of Sixth Avenue Baptist Church is for the gathering of God\u2019s singles (never married, widow\/widower, divorced) with a focus on those in middle to senior adulthood for spiritual growth and fellowshipping. This will be accomplished through the reading of spiritual enlightening books and dialoguing with each other by discussion and testimonies of God\u2019s goodness.
